    All of the characters aim pretty high... They should aim a little lower maybe...

    Yes, all your ideas about failing and how it contributes to society are basically correct. But this thread isn't about that. It is about listing the fails of the characters. For entertainment purposes, not to judge the characters

    Orochimaru failed only twice.

    -He lost the war in Konoha (But won the fight)
    -And he lost Sasuke. Which was not a goal. It is a more of a mission.

    He never failed his goal, he still has a goal to fulfill, a goal that only takes time.
