i dont see any end to this argument ever coming kakashi is that amazing of a ninja on just a level of how smart or well balanced he is in combat i say he is close to shikimaru's level. as close as anyone can be to shikimaru which is pretty far away =p

to be more specific i see him a dummber then shikimaru but not that much, but kakashi seems to be able to think on his feet better then shikimaru.

wow~! i've been gone for a week and 22 pages for kakashi, cool shit! ;p

Kakashi is amazing in planning every little detail how to win and aproache his enemy.. The sharighan didnt make him smarter. Kakashi is a very smart ninja with good skills.

Also, Kakashi was made by kishimoto to show us how the generation before now was and he is a student of the father of the main character so i stil believe that it will be kakashi telling naruto about his dad.
If it wasnt kakashi around naruto against deidara, naruto was gone.
against zabuza, team 7 was gone,
against hidan and kakuzu, chooiju, ino and even SHIKAMARU was gone! ( shikamatu didnt know about kakuzu having 5 hearts and shikamaru with his low chakra, wouldnt stand a chance
if it wasnt kakashi AGAINST GOD REALM, konoha and tsunade were already gone, goodbye!

So kakashi is strong.
