It´s really a GOOD manga. Very cool fightning, blood, tears, nice story and beautiful beautiful art. It´s still short but i really reccomend you all to try and read it. ^^

I love this manga. The street fight aspect is amusing. I don't remember reading another manga where the main character would fight by biting a chunk out of somebodies leg, or how he starts kicking a guy laying on the floor who just had the shit beat out of him in order to prove the back stabbing chick. The sense of honor the main character has is similar to most shonen, but with a refreshing twist, or so it seems to me.

Chapter 40 and 41 are out! Madoka vs. Guesong... Awesome!

I just know guesong will win but i´m pulling for madoka here. I like her, she should be on the good side.^^ Somehow i have the feeling she'll die...

Guys, there are some things i don't get yet, maybe you guys can help me figure it out.

FIRST:

-How many 'sides' do we have in veritas? And which can be considered good, or bad, or neutral?

We have:

-The 9 dragons(Gangryong, Guesong, the 3 other guys, honze+Jeeha, Rud and ...... 1 unknown person)

student council, 9 members
-Student Council 1 side(Vera, Shinra, Guhoo, Madoka)
-Unknown: Paul, Yuhwa, Hayato
-Student Council 2 side(Jeeha, Rud)

Anichella died, and guesong isn't a member anymore is he?

Besides those 2 sides, we have:

-The traditional martial artists(which we hardly know anything about..) But some of them fleed to protect their techniques... The others are forced to work together with reunion.
There were 5 Heavenly Five Paths masters:

Yuri
Lightning tiger
fire dragon
Ancient Wood/Earth beast?
Liquid Shark

-Reunion (led by Yuri)

Some of them betrayed the traditional artists(dr. fire dragon) But right now it looks like he's a dubbelagent/spy

There are so many sides it's hard to keep up on which belong where and who belongs to what side. It's interesting though.

SECOND:

It's so hard to devide the fightning styles in groups 0_0... I just can't get a clear overview. It seems like there are 5 great arts and so many other smaller arts branched in even more groups.

There are 5 traditional arts(heaven's riches):

i'm guessing: EOTL(lightning), earth, fire, water.. The last one is tricky... that would be yuri's style right? I'm guessing wind...? Or does she use multiple styles since she's the master of heaven's riches?

Now how can i see all those other techniques and art? 0_0 Southern yardplay, lifewisher etc? It's all so confusing. It's different techniques from different arts.. or groups inside the different styles? Yardplay being part of wind?...

The only art we are sure of is EOTL... It only has 1 successor left. But the others seem so big. It's hard to understand it all.

I hope we get some clearer explanations later!^^

anyway, is there only 8 volumes? or is it still serialized in korea?
i know that helz0ne is up to the first chapter of vol 7.

I hate the way how madoka lost... but i knew it would happen. Anyway.. i find it ridiculous that guesong could do all those moves after that big wound... even if he can ´close them from the inside´ whatever... his aorta rupted >.>

Lets see vera kick his ass into oblivion please. Show that immature joker how it´s done.
