We read them, not necessarily all the way through them. If we find that on page 3, the thread has become just a bunch of people insulting each other, then we check the last page and things haven't changed, we're not going to bother with the pages in the middle.

Duke is a mod because we aren't replacing mods at the moment and because he did notify us of his absence.

Vitron is a mod because he was a moderator on binktopia premerge and is a.. vital part of the staff, therefore when we merged, he became a global mod. Also, Vitron doesn't actually moderate but the global mod status gives him access to staff forums which he needs access to apparently.

Questions:

1. Why does alot of the mods don't display that they are mods? I mean, just like I can see in your profile Woofcat that you are the admin or one of the admin, I find alot of the mods don't have stated whether they are mods or not. And surprisingly enough those are the ones that issue out infractions the most.

Lets you wander why they are hiding their forum id's

2. I just notice something, why I can edit or even delete a post i made but I can't delete a thread I create. Shouldn't I be able to delete the thread I create as long as nobody has posted within my thread as yet ?

Yea, i know that know now but what about the new people to the forum. When i first came to this forum i was totally confused who was what.

Especially when I wanted to complain about something. I didn't know who was the mods to talk to...........................

I mean only the vets. to this forum actually know much about the mods or who are mods........................well until you get a infraction.

You can only soft delete your posts, ie still viewable to staff.

The view forum leaders link at the bottom of the main page spells out who is who. Forcing staff to use default titles would be boring.
