I am not American. But if I say Harvard, I can't be wrong.

It's good that you already started planning when you are in the 9th or 10th grade. Aim high. Because you usually fail in obtaining it. But if you aim for Harvard from the start, maybe you will end up in Duke or Dartmouth.

However, choosing a university is more than merely rankings. Each individual university specialize in different areas. Some universities specialize in research, while some others are more business oriented. You also have to take tuition into consideration. The question whether you want to go into a professional school like medical school or law school plays a factor as well. All in all, it depends upon your area of interest and financial situation. If you have a good university close to you, it may be to your best interest to simply settle down there. Also, you should be very careful to check out if the university in question has the professional school that you want to get in (for example, if you want to become a doctor, it's to your best interest if the school in question has its own medical school since a professional school usually prioritizes the graduates of its own associated university). Finding the right university requires a great deal of research. In any case, I offer you the best of luck.
