Gah, I'm not the one to answer, since I joined when they were all merged already,
but:

blood-scanlations and bludshock just merged and mangashare was born...
When MS and Binktopia merged around last christmas, it was decided to
use the name of binktopia for the scanlations, and the mangashare forums
for the community/as the place where to release...

Also, the homepage is mangashare.com, so how is it not mentioned?

I always wondered about this, I had a infraction one time but I wonder what it does. It just ruins my User CP :(.

I think 3 infractions ban you for some time automatically.

mods, how is the mangashare screen for you guys? can you guys see certain stats of members? and can you see how the posts are previous to edits that members make?

We see the same as you when logging, with a few more admin links (reader panel control, forums panel control, tracker control, etc). I don't know if we see any extra stats than normal users. And yeah, there are ways to see posts after they've been deleted; but I don't think we can see the previous posts after they've been just edited.
