I think the real question would be "Do they care?" Anyways, I don't believe it matters whether they know if Naruto is the 4th's son or not. But to answer the question, I think they do. If they don't, the only person in Akatsuki who did know was Itachi.

I don't necessarily think they care that he is the 4th's son, but I do think they care that Naruto has the nine tails, and even worse, He has limitless pontential, and all that would would come back to his bloodline. And that would lead back to him being the 4th's son.

Madara and Itachi are/were probably the 2 people that know/knew that Naruto is the 4th's son. But I doubt they care.

i though that if they knew that they would be intimadated by that because he might have been taught some of his jutsus and if they knew the fourth they know he has some pretty strong jutsus

I think Itachi and Madara know... If not Itachi ,then Madara for sure.
Madara should know what happened exactly to The Nine Tails he Summoned.
I don't think they bother to tell Pain that.

itachi was also at least a genin/chuunin around the time it happened.. there is what, a 6-7 year difference in age between itachi and sasuke.. and if that's right, he had already graduated from the academy by the time naruto and sasuke were born. so its at least possible itachi knows.

madara I would have to think might know as well (especially if he did summon the kyuubi to attack the village). but based on what we've seen of diuscussions between all the other atakuski members, they just refer to him (naruto) as the pain in the ass nine-tails host. which in the long run may be a BIG mistake
