No worries, the Torrent I'm using is faster than you could download from IRC. I don't feel like going onto IRC anyway, haven't been on it for several months and intend to keep it that way. (IRC eats social lives.)

GT isn't by the original mangaka and AF is just fanfic... that's why It doesn't count.. as Dragonball series

honestly, I thought the original dragon ball was better than DBZ. In fact, most of DBZ I thought was pretty crappy. I only recommend people watch DBZ through Freeza and stop there. Garlic Jr and on felt like a waste of time to me. Sure there were a couple good scenes after that that made me laugh, but overall I don't think it was worth the watch.

I loved to watch Dragon Ball (and Dragon Quest) when I was a child. Some months ago I rewatched it on the TV and... bleh, it sucks. Okay, it's almost a legendary manganime and the time it was aired nothing better was made maybe, but I do not recommend to spend any more time to any one watching (or rewatching) this. New children would enjoy way more One Piece than DB.
It lacks of good drawing, good voices (japanese and spanish), decent plot, variety of attacks... there was once a bit of plot on Dragon Ball, but it completly disappeared on Dragon Ball Z, which was fight + fight + fight + fight with no background story at all...
Watching it nowadays is a waste of time

You have to admit some of the fighting sequences were pretty cool. I agree with the lack of plot. It wasn't horrible but wasn't great.
