That wasn't really the point i was trying to get across , i was just saying that even if Pein is so powerful, we havn't even see much of Madara fight yet and he is the leader which leads me to believe that he is truly something to see and most be something special to be waiting so long to show his true ablities..

The same could be said for Pein. If he can't be killed by normal means, why does he work with anybody at all? So that's an invalid point to judge who's better between him and Madara.

Big difference. Madara is the brains. He sets up the strategy while Pein leads. People compare them to Sidious and Vader when I think its more like Xavier and Cyclops. Prof. X created the X-Men and for the most part dictates what needs to be done with their primary agenda. All while Cyclops leads the X-Men and makes the choices on how to best accomplish their goals.

Even if Hinata,Shino,Kiba and Sakura arent all that strong they arent genin naruto sure doesnt have the lvl of one and Yamato and Kakashi are high jounin and still Madara was playing around. i believe there is a good possibility u comment about Madara no able to take a hit is a hyperbole but i have to say just in case that he was able to stop Suigetsu sword whit his arm and yes in a normal case the boss-subordinate relation wouldnt indicate the stronger but the only problem i have is Pain complex of believing he is god why a person who believe is superior to others summit to other person (God doesnt need anything for any one) and i dont think u cant hire god as u personal bodyguard and yes is very possible that this was one way of Kishi to make us believe Pain is weaker when actually is the contrary.

why don't we wait to see how things turn out, and see the full capibilties of Pain, and see the abilties of Madara before we go saying who can beat who. It is kinda impossible to say who can beat who, because we haven't seen anything from Madara, and only a little from Pain. This thread should end now...

I just now thought of this idea. It's kinda good I think. I wish I would have thought of it sooner lolol.

Cuz I don't think I have, so how can u compare them both, when you just know one side of the story. And also I believe that not even they know who's better, they are using each other to acomplish their goals, Pein wants to bring pain over the world and is Akatsuki and Madaras plan to carry on his own. And so is Madara Using Pein to destroy Konoha. So I don't think we will know x sure until it happens, if it doesn't we will know

I say, let people debate away. Let them guess, suggest, opine, pontificate, and anything else their hearts desire. We all are free to agree or disagree. Better yet, we can ignore a thread we don't like or deem too stupid.

I happen to like this thread. I've said my peice and am watching to see what others think. There are many threads that I seriously ignore.

To recap this thread so far, Pain is incredibly strong and dangerous, however Madara can become intangible so he can't be touched, he can also travel super fast, and block giant swords with his bare arm. On top of all that he has the Sharingan, although there is a hint that his Sharingan may be somewhat less capable than it used to be. There is still a lot of unanswered stuff, but if we were to wait for answers before we can discuss a thing, this place could get boreing really fast. I think we have enough to guess and argue (agreeably) about

I know it is okay to debate, and offer ideas, opinions and theories, but You really can't compare Madara to anyone right now. He is really an unproven commodity. Furthermore Pain hasn't really shown us too much either. That is why it is hard to make legitimate debates about this subject. The only way this thread will be a legitimate thread to debate in is when Madara shows us someting other than being able to teleport and block swords. That is not enough to go on. I mean it is going to take more than that to win a fight.

What can we say....Madara is going to teleport the whole time and block Pain's swords?It's only fair that we use the evidence that the manga gives us, and There isn't enough evidence on Madara abilities to help him win this fight, so it wouldn't be unfair anyway If you were to debate about this based on what we've seen so far, Pain will win by default because of not enough evidence.
