    Has Bleach Become A Peach?

As some of you might realize by now, bleach has become a C- series if now worst... Its felt like eons ago that Sōsuke Aizen and the accompanied captains left for Hueco Mundo, which was the highlight of the whole series. After that we had to then sit through a somewhat ok Filler arc only to come back to the same nonsense again.. even the manga seems to be getting less and less interesting as it go along, i mean when in the world is this story going to actually come together?.... Seeing Ichigo Kurosaki gain strength to lose only to gain more strength and win has become old and stale, also having numerous whining characters along with some stuffed animals (very very annoying ones) and some of the worst story development.

It has now come to a point where i ask myself "why do I read/watch this nonsense?", they have so many other anime/manga series that is superior at this point.. and my answer to that is, i see potential in it...

I would love to know where you all stand on this whole issue

I continue to watch the anime because of the character designs, their interactions and of course the signature of Bleach - hyperpowered sword fights.

As to Ichigo's powerup resolve wins...that's bascially the essence of shounen.

As to the plot being driven to slowly in the anime...well it's filler time this time around in the anime, so don't expect to much now. Did you want the anime to pull a shippuuden (blending filler elements in the canon episodes) or what?

Actually bleach is more guilty of that than naruto at the moment since it has the three stuffed animals hanging out and doing stuff when they don't even exist in the manga.

Only thing in naruto is that one girl from sand who we barely see and her character design is actally in the manga as one of the girls who fawns over gaara when he is rescued.
My pants are on break right now.

    Why do I like Naruto?

    Spoiler!

I actually thought/hoped that the stuffed animals would be killed off at the end of the Bounto Arc. :/ Looks like that ship has sailed.

Maybe they will be killed in a filler (hopefully)?

    As for the topic:

I wouldn't give up on BLEACH yet. It's hit a rough spot but what manga/anime hasn't?Okay not many but Kubo Tite made the awesome Soul Society Arc so he can definatley turn Heuco Mundo Arc around can't he? After all, all the fights before Ichigo were pretty good in my opinion.

I just thought of this but I think Kubo was trying to make the Ichi vs. GJ fight to look awesome in the anime which is kinda stupid when he should be focusing on the manga cause the anime is the animators part. Hey it's an idea :/
    O.o

It's shit now. This Hueco mundo arc is almost the same as the Seireitei Arc.

Ichigo and the gang infiltrate Hueco Mundo (Seireite) and fight through the Espada (Shinigami Captains) and Arrancar (Shinigami) to rescue Orihime (Rukia).

When I saw the title of this thread the following witty play of words sprung to mind:

"Sorry Ichigo, but our princess is in another castle"
    Your friendly neighborhood debunker.

Well it's shounen-themed... basically, the only attractive feature is the 'action'. Sides compared to Inuyasha or One Piece, this is waaay better (from my point of view).

Heresy! One Piece is the best.

Anyways, about this arc being the same as the Soul Society arc, there are a lot of similarities, but this arc does do things a bit differently. For one, it is a lot darker; also, the characters are facing much worse battles (and not simply in the sense that the people are stronger than the captains).

Chad and Rukia may be dead (though we're 98% sure that they're not); Ishida and Renji are fighting an utterly hopeless battle; and Ichigo can't seem to do well against anybody. In Soul Society, the battles didn't seem as hopeless or one-sided, and it was usually quickly revealed that a character wasn't dead after all.

Dealing with the quality of the series, it has gone down a bit, but what is the mangaka supposed to do? Most of the ideas I hear from people about what they would like to happen (as an arc) is crap that most people wouldn't like at all. Kubo set up something to happen with Aizen, and he had to follow through with it. He had to have Ichigo and the gang follow Orihime when she was captured because it's what the characters would do. After that, he has made some mistakes, but at least he is getting us somewhere. It's better than a lot of the crap out there.
All glory to Haruhi! The one and true God!
