    I'd say Gantz, followed by Claymore... but those aren't shonen.
    So I might as well go for Fullmetal Alchemist.

    Shonen.... Best shonen is, in my opinion, without a doubt: BECK - Mongolian Chop Squad >=3

    It has everything a good shonen series should have, and Train rocks. Definitely recommend it.

    As long as everything just keeps on flowing forward, then that's already enough.

    Rurouni kenshin. Truly stands out from the rest of the shonen. The storyline is meaningful, the characters are stylish and the fighting is well balanced (not too fantasy-ish and also not too realistic). I'm also glad it breaks the stereotypical obnoxious teenage shonen hero such as naruto, ichigo and luffy.

    Deathnote is also rather creative, and I like bleach and claymore as well. But my vote goes to Rurouken.
