Itoshiki Nozomu is always in despair! Even simple things like paying for the toll on the subway can send him to a despair so deep only attempted suicide is the answer. How Strange is it then, that he should be the teacher of a High School Class filled with students with even more emotional problems than his. This great Comedy will leave you in anything but 'Despair' as you meet each of his students and watch their wacky adventures.

*check!* Now, I'm gonna have to get Binky to agree; what can be more awesome than a foursome suicidal? Not to mention that the number four itself holds a few (deadly) implications.

On a more lively note, Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is easily my favourite anime at the moment, its fun and seemingly random animation style(s), as well as fast-paced story with no proper plot makes it such a delight to keep up. :3 Had to pause every second just to read what was written in the background; not that I actually get it, but I read them anyway. Also, Zetsubou tracks = epic.

Anyone know anything of the OVA - Goku: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei; when and how it'll be released?

hmm, I'm just waiting for it to show up on tosho, there's the ona aswell not sure which is going to come first though.

Also, I found out today that Del Rey have licensed the manga, So I'm gunna pre-order vol. 1 (not out till feb 2009 :<).
As of now I've given up on waiting for a.f.k to finish zoku and have downloaded the anon releases, I shall have to make do.
