New chapter. It was cute, nice to see the whole "religion" of this world but it was a bit corny to see both Toriko and Komatsu win the events of the food festival right off the bat. I would have liked for a new competitor/antagonist to show up and pull the knife out of find the seed, then we could have some friendly competition going on

Excited to see the new arc though, lets see what this food luck will bring them! Can't wait to see them enter the gourmet world again too XD

yeah, can't wait for the next couple of missions/addaptations and hopefully cell-evolution.
Guess 1 more cell-evolution will happen before the Gourmet-world

I wonder what the president wants with all these ingredients? Is he making something? And if each is more delicious and powerful than the next then Toriko will evolve about 4 more times on top of the training he will get to make him able to withstand gourmet world.

Nah, I think the president just wants to train toriko for the gourmet-world by sending him after these ingredients.
The president doesn't need any of the ingredients at all (proof = ozon herb he allready had & him allready leaving for the gourmet world)
Ozon herb: training his cells to quickly adapt to low oxigen-leves -> cell-evolution
Melk dust: training his cells to quickly adapt to high gravitation
Mellow Cola: training his cells to quickly adapt to extreme heats -> no cell-evolution (only for Zebra)

My guess is there will be 4 or 5 more ingredients before he gourmet world and 2 evolutions (3) max

Toriko stated as such didn't he? Something about needing 4 or 5 extra ingredients for the training.

I am getting really more and more excited with ever ychapter about the Gourmet World though, he really seems to like hyping it up. I hope he can let it live upto the expectations.

Fun little chap inbetween. Even for the interference of Tina.

Another great chapter. It was a nice little story line and didn't detract them from the timeline too much. I lol'd at peeing out of every orifice and the farting on the apple haha. But Im so impressed by the level of creativity put into this manga, it seems to flow very well and nothing seems to be too ridiculous of an ingredient haha. Im really enjoying this series, it definitely has the potential to push out on of the top 3 mangas, right now I would bet its #4 in popularity and its still relatively new.

I liked the short story but I wonder if these are little mini arcs or part of the food temple arc?

stories are indeed fun (apples) and heartwarming (egg),
though i wouldn't mind it going back to the main story line.
