I read both Naruto and Fullmetal Alchemist regularly. But if I had to say which I prefered more, it will go to Fullmetal Alchemist.
There's 416 chapters of Naruto vs the 87 chapters of FMA that's out. But I feel like I have a good connection and understand of the FMA characters and it's story.
Naruto's characters and storyline seems too disjointed at times, it makes it difficult to enjoy. Even if the author, Kishimoto, is trying to demonstrate how all of the events are somehow related. I really didn't care that Azuma died. Or whoever died.
But man, I was like WTF when Maes died. That event in the FMA manga still effects me. It's something I think about.
Both Azuma and Maes left behind a loved one and a child. But I felt for Maes as a character. And with his smart and energetic personality. Azuma was such a flat character in comparision.
FMA is what got me to read manga. So, thats my choice.
Also, my brother and best friend both hate anime and manga in general but love FullMetal Alchemist.
NAruto is great!
but, FMA is more mature, more philosophical, and make the people think more than naruto,
i love naruto anyways
but Fullmetal is fullmetal!
Thanks Blue hime!
