i don think he supresed the flame like sasuke did, i think he just stopped the technique by closing his eye. better control over it than itachi. probably the same thing madara did.

It was Madara that did it, i just said thsi in an other thread but i'll repeat it here.... I think the MS has a total of 6 techniques and the EMS allows you to use all, Extinguishing the falme being one of them

also, i dont remember correctly, but i think deidra lost an arm to kakashi's technique, and i think tobi returned the arm to him. doesnt that mean that he can use that same jutsu kakashi uses and thats how he was able to return the arm. if someone could find this in the manga it would be of great help.

Kakashi warped away the bicep part of Deidara's arm. His hand just fell to the ground.
