That's why I said maybe. Thorofasgard13 can be right too. The Hyuuga could've been under either the Uchiha or the Senju. We just doon't know yet.

Meh....I like to keep them all separate for the time being. Considering the size of the Fire Country, any of those clans could have lived without encountering one another provided they weren't employed to destroy another clan. And when the Uchiha and Senju formed Konoha, other clans just kinda trickled in (Hyuuga being one of the first).

Well, we already know that the Uchiha clan had several clans under their control so I can assume and speculate The Hyuuga were there at the founding of Konoha.

I hope he does. The Hyuuga Clan interests me, I'm curious to know more about them. They should have owned plenty of clans back when their were no ninja villages.
