Why? It was a very touching moment.
He will live, but I don't think Luffy will intervine since he said that Ace doesn't want to look weak against others.

I hope he dies. I mean, we've seen enough of his fighting skills, and I doubt he can be much stronger than what we've seen, so I prefer him dying and then a lot of characters being affected (Luffy, Whitebeard, ...) and some flashback chapters of Ace's life back from his training days with Luffy until present times.

I don't think he would die, maybe luffy won't save him, but dragon or WB could do something... let's see and hope for the best

How bout this ? Ace lives but WB dies while trying to save him. Or not.

If Ace Dies Im going to stop reading and watching One Piece. Itachi is dead in Naruto and that is what destroyed the manga. Oda has to think twice before taking about of one the coolest characters.

I like that possibility, WB dieing and Ace taking over his crew. But still, it might not happen.

I see no one dyeing at the execution but like a large scale capture of the WB crew of at least the WB crew who are present for the battle. I don't think WB would send his entire crew, I mean could you see his nurses and someone needs to watch the ships

I would like that no one dies in WB's crew except that old geezer. But People die in One Piece too.

50 chapters ago doesn't mean 1 week ago or anything. Plus, sea traveling takes lots of time. I am sure WB is on his way with his commanders.
