Actually, I think the original Kei is looong gone. If you can remember, he died with his friend in a train accident in the first chapter and THEN Gantz copied him or something and reconstructed Kei#2. Just saying

In general , when Gantz transports them at the arrvial point their just a copy of the copies with the past happend memorys safed in them. hope ya know what i mean ...^^

He needs to take a leaf from kishi on how do this shit just watched the latest naruto episodes n those were some true touching scenes. N thats how it shd be done.

While it doesn't help that Kei clone was kind of a bad idea in the first place, the fact that Reika bit the bullet for him, while tragic, is pretty lame. Not as if his survival chances are any higher at this point. I really don't know where things are going now. Sakurai's still a broken shell of a mess, the Gantzers have no clear cut goal in sight but to survive, and Kei's piloting a giant suit/mech to war. Everything's all spread out and disjointed, eh I'm in for the long haul now so I'll stick with it but man major disrespect for the leading lady of the series.

Don't know if anyone's seen this or how credible it is but, apparently Oku wants to end Gantz this year. I have no idea how he'd be able to pull that off in a convincing manner while tying up all loose ends, but at this point it's probably for the best. Gantz was a mega-hit but now is way past its prime. I still really wanna check out those live action movies though.
