Strongest (living) Character in One Piece

i haven't seen one, but i'm pretty sure someone has already posted a thread like this. anyway, i was just wandering who everyone thinks is the strongest man alive in the One Piece world.

no problem. personally, i want to say black beard is the strongest character, but instead i voted for dragon. my reasoning behind that is he is amazing enough to take on the whole world government while keeping his identity hidden from most everyone. also, i think he has wind based logia powers that would seem really strong and really cheap at the same time

Yeah I forgot to include blackbeard i think he is above shanks but below whitebeard still and Dragon to me seems like the brainy type which makes him a tactian to me

yeah, that is true. still, he has to be physically strong to be able to stop smoker from killing luffy without even fighting him. also, he was able to summon a storm that covered an entire city. this is just me trying to think outside of what we have seen so far. otherwise, blackbeard is definitely my other choice, like i said before. blackbeard not only has one of the strongest devil fruirts, but he also possesses some of the highest physical strength seen so far. he was able to nearly kill ace with just a few punches while taking on injuries from ace's fire attacks.
