So i was re-reading the new chapters and i saw this...

Here we have Timcanpy on the bottom left eating Bookman's ciggarette smoke, and then here....

we have the notorious "message" that was left by Cross, or was it?! Perhaps Tim has developed a taste for ciggarettes that we were never aware until he grew before returning to Allen.

Tim has always been a golem to have somewhat of a personality, so whose to say that part of it is 'smoking' or at the least smoke consumption? I know, I know it's a stretch but it's odd that he would do twice in less than three chapters.
