IRC Problem

i haven't been able to access the irc for quite a while...
when i click irc it shows me the main forum page with lots of errors
is it possible to fix this?

I have the same problem as mgsplayer, and sometimes when I click other links it also redirects me to the main forum page.

To answer your irc question [mgsplayer], the Java IRC is disabled. For you to access irc, you'll need to download an irc client, like mIRC, install it and then click the irc link on the homepage. It'll load in your client and...voila - you're on IRC.

I'm assuming a lot of people are trying to access from the IRC button up there. It would've worked for people using Java but it has been disabled since the upgrade. For those with an IRC client (as Ivory has said, like mIRC), you can either find the channel (#mangashare) or click the IRC link from the homepage (Located on the right, bottom most).

Ok but I still have one more problem. It's not just when I click IRC that I get send to the main forum page. For example if I click 'Ravona' in my signature or 'Arhazivory' in Redfuzzy's signature above, I also get send to the main forum page.

that is because you have the old linking to her profile, with the new update the urls got changed. go to her profile and get the new type of link...

A Mac? I can't pinpoint you to the most suitable client, but you can have a look at THIS site, and check out the clients provided. Both jja and Redfuzzy seem to like Colloquy.
