I mean, yeah, I know that most of the episodes (even in the arcs) have a "filler episode" feeling to them... but still!

I mean, like cross said, it shouldn't become one of those ridiculously 500 episodes drawn-out animes*cough*detective conan, 60 volumes with no plot advancement*cough*, but the manga is still going strong, way past 125 episodes.

I do know that Gintama has had a bit of a problem in Japan with some people complaining about it, but it never seemed that big a deal before. Is that part of the reason why?

*sighs* I dunno. It wasn't any big problem though. Gintama is the most popular comedy there even though it is raucous and rude in may instances. I know all animes come to an end but Gin was having a nice long run, Hell...even the fillers are great.
