Soul Socities 5 Noble families

Ok this may be a dumb question but I can't help wondering who all these families are. So far I know of three, the Shibas, the Kuchiki, and the Shihouin. So who are the other two?

Good point, I guess I should have gone back and reread volume 18. No one else, even Ukitake dared to call Yamamoto yama-ji. It should have been a bigger clue as to his actual status. Great, now only one family to go. I do have my suspicions. Mostly because of the way Yoruichi interacts with members of the other noble houses, if I had to make a guess it would probably be Urahara. It would also explain why he keeps on acting with such impunity.

ahh shibas? but they live outside the sereitei =x where does it say that they are nobles?

Kubo, Tite (2006). Bleach Official Character Book Souls, as well as the conversation between Yoruichi and Soi Fon during their fight in the Soul Society arc. It is implied that after Kaien's death, the Shiba clan lost its status as one of the Noble Clans (which include the Kuchiki and Shihouin clans). I'm not sure how where they live has anything to do with their social status. Yoruichi has been living in the world of the living for over 100 years, that did not mean she wasn't noble born.

I've also been thinking about this and I think that the fifth family could either be the ruler of soul society or maybe Kurosaki, since Ishiin (Ichigo's father) used to be a shinigami.
