Sora could be a jinchuuriki,we know Akatsuki has caught all the tailed beast except for 8 and 9,so for all we know this filler while not directly related to the story is more of an extension of the story in that it's using the filler to tell a story about a one of the tailed beasts.At the end of this filler we could end up seeing Akatsuki catching Sora and extracting the bijuu from him which then the anime would end up going straight from filler to when Akatsuki attacked the fire temple.

Yea true, except when Akatsuki attacked the fire temple, it was was Chiriku, not Sora that Akatsuki attacked. Hidan and Kakuzu even said after they killed Chiriku that it looks like there's no jinchuuruki there. They must have been looking for Hachibi at that time.

agreed. he obviously dies in the end so lets just move on with the story. a filler here wasn't even necessary there was plenty of room between the manga and anime especially since it took half a year to get through the sasuke sai arc. now we gotta watch sora (the second coming of gaara and sasuke combined) piss his pants and die

The last episode also showed Sora's true form in Naruto's dream....looks a lot like Kyuubi.

I have theorized that his arm is some sort of weapon meant to battle against the 9 tail fox. It might be just something they created like Orochimaru styled experiments.

I don't see how you explain it? Why would they introduce a character in the anime before the manga? He is just another character, he isn't the other jinchuuriki. >_> Kishi does not direct the anime, therefore they can put anything they want in there even if it doesn't fit with the current manga story. If it isn't the manga then it isn't part of the story, nor will it tie in later.
