Personally I think that Zeref's involvement with Acnologia is a lie to trick the people of fairy tail into killing that person with Zeref's magic

I'm not surprised, many people have theorized that a DS can become a Dragon. Don't be surprised when similar thing happens in Naruto.

From the looks of it, it's possible that their "Dragons" were Humans originally, seeing as supposedly all dragons were wiped out 400 years ago, leaving only humans (thus DS) alive.

Bathing in the blood of a Dragon makes you stronger and the like, this sounds like Sygurd's myth.

Zeref wasn't happy when Acnologia appeared, and Acnologia appeared when Zeref used the true power of his magic. This sounds like Acnologia came to defeat Zeref, before he fully awakens, because he has enough power to own Acnologia.

Man, so many things tied up together in one chapter. There are still many question to answer, though.

Someone from another forum also reminded me:

Zeref wanted Natsu to kill him. Add to that the fact that Natsu was rejected by the rune guy's runes for being too old. Natsu seems tied in all of this somehow.

If this is the case do you think that Igneel and the others left their DS because of the fear that they might end up like Acnologia?

Not really, Grandine might be a DS that obtained her magic from the Sky Dragon. It doesn't say Grandine, but the Sky Dragon and that it is a she, nothing more. Not to mention that her counterpart from the other world, is a human ?

Seeing as most names of the Dragons are similar to Acnologia's, which was a human, leans towards them being once humans as well. Normally you would think that Dragons had different names from Humans, but here we learned that the names like Acnologia were once given to humans.

Anyway, the Emerald Dragon said that most Dragons died 400 ago, so it isn't impossible for some to survive until now... although seeing as Acnologia loves to sly dragons, it's quite strange that they would have been able to survive that long.

The Knight-guy suggested that some dark powers were used to enhance the Dragon Transformation, my guess is that they had something to do with the Eclipse. Perhaps the Knight-guy is DS, that wish to become like Acnologia ?

We still need to learn about the GSs, but the way that it was phrased: "whilst being a dragon, it also bears wings of darkness" seem to suggested that Black Gods and Dragons are on opposite sides and that Acnologia is a combination of both.

Well since there are no more dragons I don't think the DS have anything to worry about since there won't be any dragon blood.

Ive always wondered about why dragons were training dragon slayers lol nice to know the reason. I liked the dragon though, he had a nice sense of humor haha and Im happy he attained nirvana too. So does this mean Acnologia was taught his dragon slayer skills from a dragon that was as powerful as the dragon he turned into? It kinda sets it up for either Natsu to turn into a dragon and defeat Acno or for Acno to turn back into a human dragon slayer and fight Natsu as a human. Either way this is going to be a good fight. Im super curious to see how the celestial mages are factored into all this! Maybe Lucy will become a more powerful member of the group now

Can not believe, Acnologia is a human, why he kills all dragon? I am wonder does he lose his control or did it by his mind?

The Knight-guy suggested that simply killing a Dragon isn't enough. Bathing in the blood of a Dragon seems to be some kind of ritual to attain the form of a Dragon... on the other hand, Dragon Force give you scales of the Dragon. Sting and Rogue can do this by themselves because they were taught magic by Dragons and were infused with Dragon Lacryma. Perhaps, bathing in blood, was a mean for his whole body to absorb Dragon Magic infused blood, with later on would transform into Dragon Lacrymas inside of his body ?

Then again, we need to wonder about Natsu, who seem to be able to produce Lightning Dragon's magic now, which would suggest that he have obtained a portion of Laxu's lacryma.

BTW. Currently, if Natsu were to become a Dragon, he would become the Amber Dragon, a mix between fire (red) and lightning (yellow).
