    Tobi hid his identity, Pein did the same... It would only make sense if Orochimaru did hid something... And there was always something missing with Orochimaru.. Because he never fought 100% with all his power..

    So it`s only logical to think that he wouldn`t expose himself to akatsuki.. Because that would only make him a bigger target...

    As far as Oro was concerned, he only wanted them out of the way because they wanted to kill him. I mean he abandoned Akatsuki with important information on most of its members. So whether it be for the 8-tails or not, they were gonna kill him regardless. The more Akatsuki members Konoha killed off, the easier for him to move around. Thats all.

    I think Orochimaru is the eight tailed keeper because he has the power of snakes and kishi might make that go together

    But the only evidence ya have on him being the the eight tail was that he looks like a snake, hello, Kisame looks like a shark maybe he has a tailed beast in him. Ya All Fail!!!
