Poor Deidara never had a chance :(

Cursed mark was bullsh*t, plain and simple. Please note that Sasuke has not sprouted hand-wings, the extra flight abilities they granted him, nor the inverted eyes and hair since having his seal removed. Therefore, it clearly was NOT ENHANCING ANY NATURAL ABILITY OF HIS!

Although after seeing him use the wing to grab, the snakes and wing to block attacks, and the snakes as a substitute wing, you can't deny that he showed incredible skill in wielding the mark. If anything, it's more akin to the Kyuubi sealed in Naruto. It's the exact same thing, actually!

I know it's been said so many times before, but it makes the fact no less true now: Sasuke won by using the fourth great power awakened by the Sharingan: Plot Armor. If you think for a second that at the end of that fight he should've been able to summon a creature as large as Manda AND cast a Genjutsu on him, then you are deluded.

rather simple concept to comprehend, really. regardless of all the uproar in manga forums everywhere started by uchiha/sasuke-bashers lol.

a summon is instant, now matter how big; and to be cast under a genjutsu is pretty close to instant, if not instant as well. quite the play by sasuke, deidara was a dork for getting so worked up.

I know it requires more skill (as evidenced when Naruto could only summon tadpoles when he started summoning training), but I'm not as clear on the Chakra requirements. ah, i see. the chakra argument is a much more valid argument than the time issue usually used with the deidara vs sasuke fight.

this indicates deidara has poor skill in discerning how much chakra his opponent has, he assumed sasuke didn't have enough chakra to free himself, deidara was wrong.

there deidara goes again, assuming this time, sasuke really isout of chakra, he was wrong again, just like the first time.

then we have to ask the following question, why did sasuke collapse when he used the chidori nagashi? i think it was because of this.

took a hell of a toll on him? what did sasuke mean? that using chidori on himself took a bunch of chakra out of him? no, i doubt it. i'm pretty sure he meant it took a physical toll or damage to himself, he attacked his own body with chidori, overloading his body and nervous system with electricity. this explains how after sasuke uses a further raiton jutsu, one that particular emanates from his entire body like the chidori nagashi brought him to his knees. rather than pure chakra exhaustion.

(though i'm sure all the chakra usage through out the battle didn't help but sasuke has always had a larger than average chakra pool, before he was even a genin.)

and also, to answer your question, summoning a large summon probably does cost more chakra, but how much, can't really say. a genin naruto needed some kyuubi chakra(pre-one tail stage) to summon the boss frog.

now how much chakra does it really take a real-deal uchiha to cast a genjutsu through his sharingan?
