One Piece > Naruto

That's too bad, but I can see how it happens. One thing is to distinguish between the animes and the mangas. The animes tend to really suck (this applies to Bleach and Naruto for sure, probably One Piece too). The mangas are usually better.

If you're new to One Piece, it might feel weird to come in at chapter 500+ and get used to the art, but it's worth it. Especially if you have time to go back to the start of the series and catch up on the backstory. That's what I did, when it was back at chapter 400 or so.

One piece the anime ROCKS. Even the fillers rocks.

i jus cant really get into op/ i've tried cuz a few people hav told me how good it iz but the whole pirates searchin fpr treasure concept seems really dull and so potc. i jus cant see watz so great about. but this is all comin from me watchin the anime so i'll give the manga another shot but 4 now itz naruto> one piece. sorry

very few people die at one piece.. i'd love to see more blood and gore. besides one piece could be a bit more comic and child friendly to me, that that takes off a few kudos points.

^It might be more mature...but I still think its pretty stupid. Because honestly, 6 months on a side story? The same old "get <name>" back all the time? It's more mature, but not even close to as good as One Piece.

One piece is by far the best Shonen currently avaible. It's a shame 4kids ruined the serie's chances of succes in N.A.

I used to read One Piece alongside Naruto in the American releases of Shonen Jump, and honestly...I lost interest in OP ^^; I stopped reading it long before I ever cancelled my subscription. Meanwhile, I've kept up with Naruto, and while I hate the direction Naruto's taken lately, it's still managed to at least hold my interest. So that's something to be said of it.

...and about the art in OP...I personally don't really like it. It's not bad, it's just...not my cup of tea...which I guess covers the manga in general for me. I've always been a Ninja>Pirate sort of person


Neither one is my favorite anyways, that goes to FullMetal Alchemist.
