Enel V.S. Blackbeard! Showdown of the century!

Well, arguably Enel is the most destructive character in One Piece thus far. Not everyone can atomize islands or send 200m volts of thunder bolts. So the question is, can anyone other than Luffy the rubberman stand up to him?

Obviously Blackbeard comes to mind, who is able to neutralize devil fruit powers and possesses the power of darkness itself. Yet he's not immune to lightning.

So who would be able to win a battle between God Enel and Marshal D. Teach: A.K.A. Blackbeard?

Discuss.

blaack beard will end him in 5 minutes no sweat. coz in the manga enel showed that he is weak when it comes to physical fights :nod

Well, Enel did go melee against Luffy and managed to get an upper hand for the majority of the fight. Not to mention somehow he managed to stay conscious after numerous punches. Even after he got hit by the 200 ton sonic boom golden bell, he still remained conscious(the ONLY villain thus far who managed to stay conscious after getting trashed by Luffy). Alive and well, resting on Maximum.

I vote for Enel. But a last move where they both die wouldn't be bad :p

Mostly because he's awesome, though.

Blackbeard is a much more important character as far as can be seen - I'm guessing he's more powerful.

Although Luffy was lucky to beat Enel.

The only reason that Luffy defeated Enel period was because of Luffy being a rubber man. Enel would have easily removed Luffy if it wasn't for that aspect.

Oda fails science duirng the Skypedia arc: Enel should have defeated Luffy. Rubber is a insulator but at high voltages, it will still conduct and ALL OF ENEL's super attacks would have caused Luffy damage. Look it up if you don't believe me.
