I've seen lots of tutorials, so I tried applying it in this one. Turns out it worked! Yay!
Well, this is my first time scanlating (and coloring), but I've made a few sigs before, so I'm kinda familiar with the Photoshop tools.

I like your grays. Looking good.

How long did it take you do come to that result?

The grays technique was really easy. I just sandwiched it between the background and the background copy layer and erased the parts which are not supposed to be gray.

The scanlated one took me around 30 mins (because I was trying out some few tips), but the color took me about an hour till it came to that.

Well, actually quite a lot. Then I mixed them up and... tada~! It came to that. I kinda mixed together Shannaro's (I don't think they exist anymore right now) scanlating tuts and Zarosaki's coloring tutorial (o_o; I know, using a coloring tutorial on scanlating...). I thought it was seriously absurd when I tried thinking about it in the first place, but that proves me wrong. Hehe.

Another one! (I just have too much free time, even if the exams are coming up real soon) Although I don't think this one is better than the last one, I did it faster. Only 20 minutes now. I hope I'll be getting even faster. :3

it'd be great if you could provide fast colorings :p

btw - you method destroys the fine lines - like tobi's hand...

try to use the line tool for that problem...(antialiasing)

but everything else looks really nice..oh - and try to redo the borders...

Yeah, it seriously destroys Tobi's hand... I was trying to fix it, but turns out my pen tablet is busted. Hehe. I've got to buy a new one, it seems.
Um... and I did redraw the borders, though... It doesn't seem so, huh?
