Well the elite members are pretty much the S class mages. I made only 4 elite members because there's currently only 4 elite members in the Fairy Tail guild(Luxus, Mist Gun, Erza, & "that Geezer").

I bet alot of people think that geezer = the old man that is the leader, but my guess is that they are going to make it look more and more like geezer=leader, and then the girl will be like "hold on...you're the geezer, aren't you?!".. >_> and then the whole guild will start laughing, and the real geezer will come out.

Nah, no one will think "that geezer" is Makarov. Lucy even showed it in her Fairy Tail guild ranking chart...



and she made this chart after "that geezer" was introduced.(Chapter 24 Page 17)

Didn't you say that you thought Lucy would ask Markarov is he was that geezer? Also all of the Fairy Tail members have the utmost respect for their guild. Luxus and Mirajane just referring to Makarov as that geezer seems offensive.

I didn't know only one scanlation group was allowed to scanlate a series.

It's not about being allowed to. It's about etiquette. Which a lot of the new community cares less and less about.
