I liked the effects, but not the song. Personally I prefer the more hyper and exhilarating type or the ones with a flavor of uniqueness. But this one is OK. I will put that on the first page. ^^

I think the song was OK... Nothing more...

I liked the AMV generally though, the colors started to get a bit too "flashy" at some point. Thx for sharing though^^

What? The Brigade Chief was absent for a short while and the Brigade ends up dead? Tsk, people. You are such disappointments. Can't you guys start up discussions without my help?

In the novels, Itsuki stated once before that his outer cheerful personality is the only a vacant shell, meant to fulfill Haruhi's ideal image of a mysterious student. Which brings up two questions:

1. If so, then why is the Itsuki in novel 4 the regular smiley Itsuki? Surely he had no reason to maintain that outer facade in that alternate world.

2. Is that why Itsuki always closes his eyes while smiling? There is a proverb: "When the muscle smiles, while the eye does not, thus thou faces mendaciousness"(OK, so I made that one up. Whatever -.-). Does he consciously shut his eyes so that people wouldn't be able to detect the insincerity behind those comforting (if not creepy) smiles?

I assumed that he was just saying that he actually has a life outside of pleasing Haruhi all the time, but when he's with the brigade, that's what he shows, and how he acts

1. Because he actually has a crush on Haruhi and always wants to have a good face on for her? I'll have to re-read the novels at some point... I already pre-ordered the first one
2. not sure, maybe he just has problems looking people in the eyes

Hello SYN! It's been good. But recently we are lacking activity because the Brigade Chief (yeah, that's me) has been too busy with real life issues to promote fanclub activities and is about to become even busier once one of his numerous club membership gets approved. Your presence is very much welcomed. Oh and if you have time, go check out the first page. I have done A LOT OF WORK there.

Also, we have a social group in the social group section. Feel free to pay a visit there!(In fact, you must join the social group or else. It's the Chief's order.)

Oh right, the Duke's weekly super long post is out. Go to the Code Geass thread in the general anime section and appreciate the Brigade Chief's drunken ranting! I am doing my posts blog style.
