Lol, I'm 22 years old, In other words I grew watching the Dragon Ball Saga and Saint Seiya... But the true is that DBZ is not good as Dragon ball. If the polls were about Naruto vs Dragon Ball, then I would go all the way with Dragon Ball. But is Naruto vs Dragon ball Z.

Dragon Ball Z for me it represents the downhill of the saga, Dragon ball had comedy, story and good fights. Dragon ball Z was all about of fights, that's all. The plot was borin, it wasn't interesting and basically destroyed many of my favorites characters, they became from secondary characters to useless characters (Krilin, Tenshi-han, Yamcha, Bulma), Basically the serie/manga ended being Saiyan-jin Z, the Dragon balls became from the goal of the story to just a third hand tool which were very easy to collect.

You just have to remember Dragonball and Dragonball Z were at one point one in the same. Toriyama created at amazing story of Goku when he was a kid and the story "evolved" into an all out action fest. This manga is the reason why there are so many good action manga to read today. Don't forget to respect your elders!

Thankfully DBZ wasn't the first anime and/or manga I saw or I would've hated them all. The artwork alone is abysmal. Naruto rules. \m/

None of the characters of Naruto can defeat a character of DBZ, is because DBZ is too unrealistic...

Guttered for Kishi, as DBZ was a source of inspiration when creating Naruto...

DBZ was a classic, Akira was a legend, I just wished he would of made another serious, that DBAF got my hopes up as a kid... :(

DBZ is a classic. I got hooked in it together with Sailor Moon, but if it's Naruto or DBZ, it gonna be Naruto.
