hmm there are a lot, I would have to say one anime that seriously disappointed me after such a great past episodes was Blood+. I'm not going to be mean and spoil anything for those who haven't seen the series all the way yet. However up till the final five episodes, the series is excellent, but once those final five began. The series completely turns you off.

Another bad ending...Fate/Stay Night! Well, I guess it was more of a downhill slide toward a bad ending. Decent beginning, good middle, horrible ending. I mean common...Gilgamesh <-plot device!

Didn't mind Fate/Stay night so much, but i think the Peace Maker Kurogane ending was i thought one of the more unlikeable ones, esp. since they left out so much stuff

When they ended the anime, I was like, "WTF?"

They left a lot of stuff hanging.

I've been saying it in some other threads, but yeah, Rurouni Kenshin (only counting the anime series and not OVAs).

Even though I think that the series is excellent beyond belief, I was severely disappointed in the final arc/four episodes of Shakugan no Shana.

Of course a second season is beginning later this year, although I believe the original manga produce won't be helping out, so the new season may not as good as the original.
