As we all know sasuke got the CS when oro bit him. and we all know when oro was killed by itachi, sasuke lost all of oro's powers. now there has been a debate about weither or not sassuke lost CS because even though orochimaru gave sasuke that power people believe he still has it because it was already in his body before he absorbed oro into his body. but here's the thing. CS was still oro's because it was created by the enzymes from his bite and as stated by the sound four it causes the victim to loose free will and be brainwashed by oro so it shows he is directly invoved with the effects of CS so when he died at the hands of itachi all the powers sasuke got directly from absorbing oro including CS left his body due to the fact it was created by oro in the first place.

now juugo wont lose cs because it was his in the first place and his was the orginal and juugo says himself that all others effected by CS were only copies of himself created by oro and as we know all copies don't share everything the original has. (this due to the fact no one else goes crazy when they use the CS like juugo does)

Juugo's blood was manipulated by Orochimaru to seal the ability in someone in addition to Orochimaru's charkra and will. That's why its aptly named "curse seal;" Its Juugo's curse sealed with Oro's power.

It seems to be generally accepted that in order for Orochimaru to break out of Sauske's body and reform, he had to take every ounce of his own chakra from out of Sauske, which included his "gift." When Oro took all his power out of Sauske, he took the curse seal with him.

sasuke has definitely lost the cs
but if its due to oro dying (not confirmed yet as this is oro we're talking abt) or due to something else, that is yet to be seen, maybe if we see another person, say anko, who had the cs, we can confirm this
but in my opinion, cs shouldn't be gone from everyone
cs is a combination of juugo's cells n oro's additions
oro's contribution only enables him to control the ninja's using cs
but the effect was actually caused by juugo's cells
so if juugo's cells r still there, the cs should also be present

Once Sasuke agreed to go to Oro the sound nin put him in that sealed "bucket" to awaken his level 2.

If Orchimaru was connected to the curse seal then he would be able to manipulate the person with it. If that was the case then he would have stopped Sasuke from dicing the shit out of the white snake.

well seeing as kakashi's seal was slowing down the process it must have either slowed or canceled out orochimaru's influence and sasuke was able to keep it under his control. remember kakashi told sasuke the strength of the seal was directly linked to the strength of sasuke's will so the stronger sasuke's will the stronger the seal and the seal was there to seal away the evil of the CS so sasuke released the power of the seal but kept the evil that controlled the user in check thanks to kakashi's seal, so thats why oro couldn't stop sasuke from dicing him up

As to Oro being able to control Sealed indiiduals, he was able to cause Anko a considerable amount of pain.

ok....but wasnt ankos seal reacting to oro's chakra making her have lots of pain and having trouble to control it???? doesnt that mean that the curse seal has something or respondes somehow to oros chakra??

The cursed seal isn't used for suppressing chakra. The CS forcibly draws out chakra. No one really knows the deal between Anko's encounter with Oro. All we know is that Oro activated the CS on her back and then she went down in pain. I would be willing to say that Anko's CS was experimental.

You guys are so overthinking this.

1) Curse Seal = Oro's power and will infused into a person, created by manipulating Juugo's blood to his own uses.

2) Everyone who survives to have curse seal has a piece of Oro's essence/chakra in them.

3) Against the weak willed or the less powerful, it can corrupt them and take away their free will. It depends on the individual will and power of each person: like how Kabuto is being taken over by Oro, yet Sauske can overtake Oro's influence and suppress it.

4) Oro broke out of Sauske's body, taking all his power and essence with him, which includes the Curse Seal.

5) Everyone else who had the Curse Seal still has that piece of Oro in them, the only reason Sauske lost his was because Oro basically ripped it out of him as he left his body. Kabuto is still becoming Kabuchimaru and all that jazz as well.


What is hard to understand about these points? Where is the confusion?
