What if they just drop the manga and just focus on the anime?

FMA does have alot of fillers but their fillers are atleast "OKAY". A hell of alot better than Naruto's atleast. If you read the FMA manga than you would probably think different on the Anime ending.

They should just quit the series and when they see the manga's gotten ahead enuf, they resume, without the annoying fillers.....

I like manga waaay more then anime

if the manga was dropped I wouldn't watch the anime

Yeah seasonal breaks like that would do much better then fillers (in my opinion anyway), but then again, some people can't do without Naruto, fillers or otherwise

If you don't like the fillers and would rather have breaks... then don't watch the fillers and make your own breaks. It's not like the fillers have anything important to tell.

I use to hate reading manga, but now Id rather be reading manga than seeing it in motion. Though I wouldn't mind colored mangas all the time but thats asking for too much.

But I think, anyway, that Kishimoto doesn't really care about the anime and he keeps making its great series.
In other words: dropping the anime wouldn't make any change to the manga.

The anime and manga are done by totally different teams >_>

If you drop either, the other would be unaffected, except for unpredictable economic and popularity issues.

I wonder. If they're done by 2 different teams, there should be 2 different story writers/writing teams, but most likely there's not. But let's say that it's correct and you drop the manga, then the anime could suffer badly, due to not having a good story. Now there could of course be a whole lot of discussion about this, changing slight aspects of the above, but let's not. xD Because then my flame war sense would start to tingle and I'd have to hop out of bed to save the post... o_o;
