Thing is, they need to watch themselves because people already don't believe half of their press releases (especially when there's a high "tragedy" factor to them) and I have a feeling that in the future if something really *did* happen they'd be hosed because no one will believe them.

I dunno, sounds real though. Since the authorities start cracking down so hard on music, movies, anime, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be true.

My thoughts as well, you don't get away with yelling out wolf too many times until no one listens to you anymore.

Eventually people will get tired of these annoucements and go to another subber altogether.
