    Fillers over

    Just got info that after a 4 week break (from today) one piece will not be on fillers anymore

    That information is a double edge sword. The anime will now catch up with manga at an alarming rate unless Toei does the cheap tactic of releasing a new episode every few weeks at max.

    It is good to see how the Thriller Bark arc will be animated, especially how Brooke's voice will be.

    I think that they will finish the current arc then go straight into fillers before thriller bark.

    And as for brooks voice, i think a low soft spoken formal voice would suite him.

    the water 7 filler will be over, then they'll do something with thousand sunny, then thriller bark. but if i am wrong they will be very very close to the manga... which may also means they will have more "breaks"

    edit: i am willing to watch this fillers though, op fillers > bleach and naruto imo..

    So unlike some CERTAIN other series, they decided to put non-filler stuff inside filler stuff. Interesting.

    Anyhow, it's impossible at this point to have a non-filler arc afterward. One Piece anime is way way too close to Thriller Bark arc. Toei has to air more fillers or face death. The best way to avoid a series of fillers is to animate the mini-arcs. I am curious as to see as to what action will Toei Production commit.

    I suspect at least a full season of filler before we see Thriller Bark animated. And some more filler afterwards.

    At AX, Uda-san said there were going to be roughly 12-16 filler episodes before Thriller Bark starts... so yeah, a full season.
