The artwork only dropped in chapters published in the magazine. Volume releases have always been redrawn, before publication.

I'm not sure; wherever you got the crappy quality releases as well I suppose.
Or just got to #lurk on IRC. nexGear released a v2 of all the volumes that had redrawn art. Except maybe 19... not sure
