yahahaha~! now it has been officially announced so i guess this is really true not just internet rumors!! Hunter X hunter is back this early october!!!

An announcement was made in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (No. 40) that Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter x Hunter will resume serialization in Shonen Jump No. 45 (on sale October 6th).

Hunter x Hunter went on hiatus in early 2006. In early July, fans petitioned for the return of HxH through a special service website called Letters to the Chairman. In early August, a source from 2ch leaked the news that HxH will be returning "sometime in October."

Also announced in Jump 40 is that volume 24 of Hunter x Hunter will be released on 10/4.

I can't believe it's coming back! All I heard when it stopped was that he got ill and was paid NOT to continue it... Yeah I know, weird rumor. But we can rejoice xD
HunterxHunter is one of my favorite mangas of all time, I'm so freaking happy it's coming back.

Glad to see HunterxHunter again, though I still have to read more chapters to catch up the series. I've seen many people talking about who's gonna work on it... isn't the same group who worked on HxH until it "disappeared" going to work on it again? I'm sure HxH is gonna be take by 2 or 3 groups (at least during first weeks from now on).

wow it's back.. 20 pages chapter! wasn't usually 15 pages before..?

In my opinion, HxH was the best shônen til volume 15 or 16.. Then, such a waste :((
