Why Madara Waited so long to attack Konha?

I have a idea.. theory if you will as to why MAdara didnt attack after getting pwnt at Voe

-Anyways XD I notcied that Tsunade said that the 1st and 2nd died in wars before they could make thier vison of a more peacefull world come true.
But I always wondered about when they act died. We know Konha is about 100 years old from the start of the series.

-Also as you can see in my avatar to the left the 1st Hokage playing with his Grand daughter Tsunade so that means he was alive at least 50 years ago at which point Sarutobi was already in his 20's possibly already earning a reputatiion as a legendary ninja.

So perhaps Madara had not yet developed his immortality jutsu was afraid of getting OMGNOWAYWTFPWNT again.

Well Itachi did say Madara was a loser a former shell of himself. He went from being the most bad ass ninja of his time to hiding out as Tobi "I'm a good boy"

True, the time line tells us that Itachi joined akatsuki at 11. But I doubt Madara was chicken, he was probably researching and making all of the elements to fall into place so everything would go...all according to plan...

Assuming Konha was formed 100 years ago unless I'm wrong about this..?
(80 years ago would make more sense to me tthen he would be 50 in the pic)

-I mean if Konha was formed lets say when he was in his 20's then by the time Tsunade was born he was in his 70's

Maybe Madara waited so long to attack was because he is immortal and technically has all the time in the world.

no, he had to wait until the 1st had died. In my opinion he felt that the was the only possible person capable of destroying his plot whatever, so he had to wait for the first to die.
