Is Yondaime really dead?

Has there ever been proof that the fourth is dead? As far as I know there are no pictures of his fight with the Kyuubi, the sealing, his death or his dead body. When Orochimaru and the third fought Oro summoned three coffins out of which zombiehokages emerged, the one hokage not shown is the fourth. Why is Kishimoto refusing to show us direct evidence of this persons death? Minato is to Naruto what Jesus is to Christianity.
Well if he is alive the first question probably is: why did he fake his death?
A possible explanation is that he realized there was a conspiracy behind the attacks and he chose to fake his death and leave the village in order to pursuit the conspirators who were probably not expecting him this way. Another explanation is that he was one of the bad guys himself and staged the attack to seal the ninetails into his son. Even if he sealed the Kyuubi into Naruto for virtuos motives we still dont know them, so dont come and say "why should he?"
However I can't really imagine that Minato was evil so I personally prefer the first explanation.
Bottom line, I find it extremly suspicious that we haven't seen hard evidence for the fourths death.

1. noone knows whose in that coffins since the 3rd stopped it, its a strong chance its the 4th. 2. the reason why he wont show u he's really dead is because of what ur doing right now speculating and keep the hype up. 3. ok heres another one when you summon the death god, the one who summoned it has to die, i think thats how it goes. i dont think u can destroy the tailed beasts just seal dem. so d way the 4th did it i guess so that madara cant control the kyuubi again is to seal it with naruto and have him in a village protected under the 3rd.

I guess there are about 10 parts in all chapters were people say that the Fourth sacrifised himself to seal Kyubi into Naruto.

the sealing jutsu the third used sucked orochimarus arms into the underworld. it didnt seal them into enma or whatever. so there has to be a difference.

There is really very little doubt that the 4th is dead, seeing how the 3rd the 5th and j-man all said he was.
However I am wondering what ever happened to naruto's mother

The Yondaime is alive theory still exists? There's a CHANCE Yondaime's spirit was sealed in Naruto with Kyuubi. That does NOT mean that there's ANY chance that:


Yondaime faked his body
Yondaime sealed with a shadow clone
Yondaime cloned himself with a wierd Hiraishin
Yondaime can time travel
Yondaime survived and hid to protect Naruto
Yondaime will kill Akatsuki
Yondaime wasn't the one who sealed the fox
Yondaime was revived as Pein
Yondaime reverted his age and became Naruto
Yondaime is Tobi
Yondaime's spirit escaped and went into someone else
Yondaime is alive

NO. Orochimaru would have revived him with his reincarnation jutsu if the Third hadn't stopped him, and that means that Tobi, Pein, and Naruto, who all predate this jutsu's use, cannot be Yondaime. What i mean is that orochimaru was about to bring back the 4th but the 3rd hokage stopped him, meaning that if yondaime was alive, how could he be resurrected by orochimaru? Makes no sense right. Meaning that Yondaime is not alive. The last time i had a debate like this was when people thought yondaime was the akatsuki leader.

if orochimaru had murmured to himself something like: "damn he stopped the fourth" i wouldve been pretty statisfied, but this way....
the least i can tell is that there still is a lot to discover about how and why the kyuubi was sealed in naruto. if you can tell why he did that with 100% certainty then jirajya shouldve been able to figure it out aswell.

Minato is dead. you have to offer your soul to the Death God in order to use that Jutsu. So unless Minato was gay and had an affair with the Death God I reckon he is still trapped there in endless fights with the other nin sealed on the Shinigami belly and Oro's arms.
