IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat but basically it's a way for people to communicate. I suppose it can be compared to a giant chat room, but it has utilities which are beneficial to us. An example would be IRC allows us to host bots which users can download manga from. Our mangashare channel is basically used for users to chat and usually encompasses someone bitching about their life, one nations dominance over the rest of the world, random sexcapades or at times just..randomness.
