I thought it could be hiragana for a second (a = 1, i = 2 etc.) but then I realised that hira only goes up to 70 so that went out the window.

i meant what would appear on a jap mobile phone when you press those numbers...i never said jap alphabet...but then again there are no phones in narutoverse(they use birds+radios

)...so the page-line-word is more probable
and there is 71 hiragana and 71 katakana

It makes more sense that the numbers correspond to pages from his first book. I don't think the message is going to the toad sage cuz whats he gonna do with them. The toad sage would go to the battle field? I highly doubt that. And because those are clearly commas and not periods, I don't believe they are coordinates cuz coordinates aren't written that way.

Actually the actual Nagato wasn't one of the 6. Yahiko was, but Nagato was nowhere in sight.

I can imagine now, them retrieving the first book and looking at those page numbers but not finding anything of use. Then Kakashi finds out about it, they tell him they think it's page numbers to Jiraiya's book. Kakashi then instantly thinks about Icha Icha Paradise and goes "Aha! So that's Pein's secret!", because of course Kakashi has the book completely memorised from reading it 24/7 ^_^

good...but if j-chan wanted to point out the chapter 383 of his book,why not write 383 simply...
-he was under stress,so no time to say 19=10+9
-the commas between numbers may mean something else
