are you sure the one with itachi and sasuke was a genjutsu. i mean sasuke had his sharingan going so he would have been able to tell if it was a genjutsu and he would have dispelled it. itachi wanted to see sasuke's growth and the most reasonable way would probably be with a kage bunshin. there's no sense in itachi casting an illusion on sasuke and then saying oh sasuke you've become stronger even though you couldn't dispel my illusion. i think that was one of itachi's clones.

unless itachi feel bad and lets him kill him then sasuke is forced to live a meaningless life (though i doubt it) probably a bunshin and the bleeding could be a very small illusion

you're forgotten something...itachi's first clone that met sasuke looked real(the one that got stabbed with chidori and turned into crows)...this means sasuke's sharingan is UNABLE to see through itachi's clones or illusions.(not like against naruto's dumb clones)
