Well Lucy from Elfin Lied is pretty damn strong. It's a complete series too.

youre not mistaking it with Eden Its a endless world, are you? since the one thsv mentioned is a whole different manga.

Then again, I guess after a certain amount of demon-rape, Caska isn't, either. But even then, the demon rape goes on. No mercy in Berserk.

Caska is definitely a strong female character, even more so because of the hardship she endures. Berserk has a number of strong female characters, at least in terms of will and personality. If you merely referring to physical capability, then that colors things a bit. If its women who are physically superior or on par with the primary male characters then Tenjo Tenge and Ghost in a Shell would fit the bill. Appleseed could be another manga with a strong female lead, Blue Gender would probably qualify, and Eden also has some strong female characters, both in capability and character (and yes, that would be Eden: It's an Endless world, by Hiroki Endo, not the other Eden, though I am not familiar with that whatever one that happens to be).

I would also probably include Ayashi no Ceres, though I am not actually sure if that is Seinen, though it certainly has its share of mature content and I would say it's a good read. Though it may not be what you are looking for as the female protagonist is somewhat of a damsel in distress but also manifests immense power. It's fairly well known, look it up if you are curious.
