How many guys read Shojo mangas?

hmm, i think maybe gakuen alice is one loki.. although its definitely not like a mature manga, though.. vampire knight.. has a lot of romance so never mind. But those are the only shojos ive really read so far. :-/

Yes, more then you would suspect really. I talk alot on a friendly basis with a comic shoop owner (who has a corner for mangas) and he says guys buying shoujo actually equals the girls.

As for personally, i don't know really. I do enjoy some drama/romance but i simply can't enjoy full drama/romance thing. I read Mahou Sensei Negima and i definetley do enjoy the romance tidbits.

I'll force myself to read Love Hina one of these days and really find out if i won't like the entire genre or not.

How many guys read Shojo mangas?

If you do is it something you would try to hide more than porn? Only asking cause I’m genuinely curious. I walked in on my brother reading a copy of Nana and he had a spaz attack trying to hide it.

I am a man and I own every skip beat manga volume that ever came out, and I love reading it. I don't hide or anything and freely share and promote manga I like.

But I'm not into that boy on boy or girl on girl crap, in some of these manga. I love women too much to disrespect them and myself like that. I'm lucky and love life.

I never owned porn, but I have seen a lot of porn, sadly (porn websites mainly - was an addition), that stuff messes up your mind. At one point I watch so much porn I got scared of girls for a while and didn't even talk with them, and started thinking about that stuff every time I talked with people. It is scary the affects that stuff has on people. But I had enough respect for my life that I realized it is all pointless fantasy and BS and that is the point, concerning that.

Shojo mangas are great, they have great stories and as a guy I value a good story. Fruits basket, skip beat, and vampire knight among others. Nothing wrong with romance and goofy fun stories.

Sometimes you don't even see the difference, for example Orange Marmalade (Ithought first it was a shounen), Skip Beat! is also very well known. And what do you you think about 1/2 Prince, it's shoujo but also shounen

I read shoujo just like any other genre of manga I'm not embarassed about it one bit, I'll read any shoujo just as long as it has an interesting story.

I definitely read shoujou manga not as often as more action oriented mangas like seinen or shonen but I do read them from time to time like Kimi no Iru Machi, Kiss x Sis, and School Rumble to name a few.

Those three you mention are shounen.
Skip Beat! and Beast Master are Shoujo.

I think i read the shounen manga more than shoujo manga....
But i watch the shoujo anime more than shounen manga... i like the shoujo anime, the boys' voice is sexy...
