I've watched the 4Kids dub before for lack of anything else on TV at the time. And to actually see how much worse things could get. It's like looking at a dead pigeon on the sidewalk. It's there, and you want to look at, though you know you shouldn't, because IT IS LIVE.

It's the same reason I look at gory pictures.

Eh, it could be worse. Everyone says that Dub Piece was terrible but I would rather have Dub Piece then Dubaruto or Dubleach. Those two animes are completely trashed in my opinion over here in the states. They're as bad or worse then Dub Piece when compared to the original Japanese counterparts.

Of course people need to look at the fact that 4 Kid's marketed Dub Piece to the younger children market instead of teenager market. So the show was going to be "watered down" to begin with.

The funnesty line (in my opinion) ever in the One Piece dub was in the rap "Yo ho ho he took a bite of Gum Gum"

XD It was so retarded! It sounded like that statue in Night At The Museum (watch sadly was one of the stupidest movies ever)

I consider the One Piece dub a thousand times worse (and I bet most people agree with this) because not only did the voices suck, but the characters' personalities were changed and many things were cut out for no reason. There's a whole series on YouTube showing how 4Kids ruined One Piece by doing the worst possible editing job ever. A big argument isn't that they edited, it's that they edited poorly, which makes it all completely see-through.
