How Jinchuuriki master thier power!?

It is clear that for a Jinchuuriki to master thier power it takes years of difficult training. We see even someone as skilled as Gaara has not fully mastered his Tailed beast form and simply represses its power.

Its hard to gauge the 2 tails and 4 tails because we are left out of the majority of those fights. However the Databook did say that Yugito (2 tails) went thru some difficult training she hated to control her power.

The 8 tails is porbably the most skilled Jinchurikin we have ever seen and obviously even he continues to train regularly to maintain his amazing control of this power.

So I started thinking how exactly do Jinchurikin learn to harness thier power and I couldnt help but think of the show Bleach. Maybe the realtionship between Tailed beast and Host is kind of similar to Shingami and thier Zanpakto in Bleach.

The Tailed beast inside is not just a tool or a weapon it is alive and a self aware entity. Perhaps the Host must make the Tailed beast inside respect him/her before they can work in perfect harmony. In Bleach the main charcter Ichigo had to communicate with his inner Zanpakto before he can learn to master its true power. When Ichigo started to doubt himself the inner Hallow powers started to take control over him rather than him using them.

I'm wondering if maybe something similar applies with Tailed beast and the reason Naruto cant control the fox is simply beacause the fox looks down on him and the minute it has the chance to take control it does. So the only way for Naruto to control the Fox is go on some kind of inner spiritual journey and get the fox to respect him so they can work in total harmony.

Well thats the rough idea so post you thoughts.

Those are exactly my thoughts. They have to work together, instead of surpressing and trying to escape. Naruto will have to gain respect in some sort of way before he can use the Kyuubi's chakra on his own free will.

I am fairly certain that Minato intended for Naruto to utilze the power of the kyuubi. Otherwise why would Jariya have awoken it in the first place.

During Naruto's training, Jariya tried to release more of the kyuubi's chakra out of Naruto. Resulting in an over excess of chakra flowing through Naruto's body.
The Key to Naruto's seal stated that Naruto isn't capable of controling the Kyuubi's Chakra.

If Naruto isn't ment to use to kyuubi's chakra. Then has Jariya simply been misguided, in trying to get Naruto to weild the Kyuubi chakra?

To me it would be very interesting if Naruto some how tried communicate with the kyuubi, in it's chambers.

Then tried to train with the kyuubi. Thus gaining some level of control over the kyuubi chakra.
Much like Ichigo trained with his hollow side to gain control over it in Bleach.

very good post POW, agree 100%. Naruto has to prove to the kyubi that he's worthy of its' power. And kyubi knows naruto's survival means its own survival, so it'll be very willing to help out only when naruto shows that he's capable of using that power. That's where senjutsu comes in, imo.

I should have spotted this sooner. Garaa and both the cloud Jinchuuriki not only control their bijuu, they can transform into them. And yet it seems to be a problem for Naruto to directly access the fox's chakra for his own use, let alone control it. Could it just be that the fox is a who lot more powerful than the others?

Makes sense....But I think the 9 tails is many, many, MANY times stronger than the 8 tails and all other tailed beasts and most likely the smartest/most cunning so for Naruto prove himself to it would be difficult....He's not had very many years with it(contact wise).......Great to see if he can though...go 9 tails, activate sage mode....

Could it be down to the way the kyubi was sealed thats causing the problem?

I'm sure that something will happen with Kyuubi's and Naruto's relationship in the chapters that are to come. I mean, I doubt that Kyuubi want's to get extracted so he'll either work with Naruto (after he gets his power up) or he'll just be absorbed in that statue.

Naruto just needs to get stronger so that the Kyuubi will deem him worthy of using his power. If I were a powerful being I wouldn't just give power to anyone, except if that way I would have been able to survive.
All in all it's like how you must do some big quests in an RPG so that you are recognized by someone and gain the benefit of this friendship. One example could also be GTA IV (although not an RPG) with the buddies you can call so that they aid you. But this is only possible after you do some big stuff for them.
