I think possibly the CC guy took Law's crew hostage - it would explain the look on his face when luffy asked about Bepo.

Also if that was the case and if Luffy was the one to beat "CC" then that would basically cement a Law/Luffy alliance - which would be cool while not being overpower since if Law is working for CC while his crew is hostage it would show just how far they have to go(meaning basically Law/Luffy would still be fodder for top-tier guys hence them being allied wouldn't be overpowered).

I know its early to make predictions since the CC dude was just shown, but I wouldn't be surprised if its LuffyvsCC and then ZorovsLaw in sort of a proxy battle (like CC orders Law to kill the SH's).

Smoker would still use his Jutte even in Tashigi's body. You can even see he has it on his back when he is shown as Tashigi.

The Theory about laws crew beeing captured seems very likely... but they must be threatended by something like an dead-man-switch controlled gas chamber if CC is able to keep law under control.
I can see that Alliance happenenig but only for this one cause not for a longer period of time.
Still wondering if Nami is gonna destroy her own body to keep sanji from doing Ecchi things with it...
